Women in Seafood Australasia (WISA) is a purpose-led community delivering high-impact initiatives that strengthen industry innovation, workforce capability, leadership, and community wellbeing. Our members span the entire seafood value chain across Australia and New Zealand.

Corporate Membership

WISA Corporate Membership Bundles are designed for employers who want to support their workforce, build capability, and stay connected to the seafood industry.

Corporate membership provides a practical way to extend WISA membership to your staff, giving them access to WISA programs, resources, and community, while visibly demonstrating your organisation’s commitment to a strong, inclusive, and future-ready seafood sector.

Memberships may be allocated to employees or gifted through WISA’s Community Membership Program.

What’s included with Corporate Membership

All WISA Corporate Membership Bundles include:

  • Individual WISA memberships for nominated staff
  • Recognition as a WISA Corporate Member on the WISA website
  • A WISA Corporate Member Badge for use in external or internal communications
  • Flexible allocation of memberships, including gifting through the Community Membership Program
  • Consolidated invoicing and coordination, making participation easy to manage and report

* Each membership is activated and managed by the individual. Memberships are valid for 12 months and cannot be transferred or reallocated during the membership period.

WISA Community Membership Program

WISA’s Community Membership Program ensures that cost is not a barrier to connection, opportunity, and professional growth within the seafood industry.

Through this program, WISA provides a fully funded 12-month Individual Membership to women and gender-diverse people identified as facing financial or structural barriers to participation.

Community Members receive full access to all WISA Individual Membership benefits, including networking, professional development resources, advocacy representation, and industry connection.

Community Memberships can be sponsored by WISA Members, added into a Industry Sponsorship and Partnerships.

Built-in impact through Corporate Membership

For every five memberships included in a Corporate Membership Bundle, WISA establishes one Community Membership that:

  • Expands access and inclusion
  • Strengthens workforce participation
  • Supports leadership pathways
  • Demonstrates tangible action aligned with workforce and ESG commitments

Gifted memberships may be acknowledged as:
“WISA Community Membership proudly supported by [Organisation Name]”

How pricing is calculated

Corporate Membership Bundles are calculated by aggregating the standard individual membership fee for the number of memberships selected and applying a flat 15% corporate coordination fee.

The coordination fee covers consolidated invoicing, centralised administration, website recognition, badge allocation, and coordination of Community Membership contributions.

Bundles can be structured for any number of memberships beyond the tiers listed above.
