Women in Seafood Australasia Privacy Policy Scope

This policy applies to all personal information collected, stored or used by Women in Seafood Australasia (WISA).

It applies to information collected through WISA activities including:

  • membership and community platforms

  • programs and initiatives
  • surveys and research
  • communications and newsletters
  • the WISA website and digital platforms.

This policy applies to WISA directors, staff, contractors, volunteers and program partners who may handle personal information as part of WISA activities.

All individuals working with WISA are expected to respect and protect personal information in line with this policy.

  • Assess: Assess: what information was involved, the risk of harm and how many people may be affected.
  • Notify: If the breach presents a serious risk, WISA may notify, affected individuals and / or the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner.
  • Review: Review processes and take steps to prevent future breaches.
8. Accessing or Updating Your Information

You can request access to your personal information at any time.

You can also ask us to correct or update information if it is inaccurate.

For membership accounts, you may also update your profile directly through the membership platform.

9. Privacy Concerns or Complaints

If you have questions about how your information is used, please contact WISA.

We take privacy concerns seriously and will work with you to resolve any issues.

If you are not satisfied with our response, you may contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC).
